Technical Service Desk Engineer
Manchester (3x a week)

We have teamed up with a lighting company based in Greater Manchester who are on the hunt for a Service Desk Engineer to join their team. Providing both
1st and 2nd line support
, you'll be the first point of contact for IT support issues and requests.
This is a great opportunities to get involved with not just the service desk team, but add input into their upcoming projects and collaborate with all departments
What you'll be doing:
* Attend and support requests by
phone, email, and ticketing system
.
* Have strong knowledge within
Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11 and Active Directory
.
* Good knowledge within networking
(configuring and installing switches, routers etc)
* Strong
Communication skills
and ability to collaborate with others to resolve issues efficiently, escalating complex issues to 2nd/3rd line support teams
* Deliver
technical support across hardware, software, operating
systems, and networks.
* Log all issues and requests correctly
Who we are looking for:
* 3-4 years within a 1st/2nd line support role
within a
ticketing system
environment
* Great Microsoft knowledge (
Windows 11, M365
,
Business Central desirable
)
* Exposure to cloud platforms (
AWS, Azure, Google
etc)
* Networking ability
* Strong
communication skills
and
adaptability
in a fast-paced environment
* ITIL Foundation certification
Salary up to 38K, Hybrid working (3 days on site), friendly and supportive working environment with clear progression, and much more
