What you’ll do
1. Personal care (washing, dressing, support with routines)
2. Preparing meals
3. Safe medication support
4. Companionship, conversation and reassurance

5. £13.25 per hour
6. Guaranteed minimum-hours contracts after training
7. Paid travel allowance between short gaps in visits
Typically worth around 10% extra paid time
Travel time is not taken out of your hourly rate
8. Mileage paid at 45p per mile after the first 10 miles each day
👉 This means you’re paid for more of your working day, not just the time inside a client’s home.
Typical earnings
9. 24 hours/week (guaranteed) ≈ £1,383 per month
10. 30 hours/week ≈ £1,729 per month
Hours & working pattern
11. 15–30+ hours per week, depending on availability
12. Busiest times: 8:00–11:30am and 4:45–8:15pm
13. Every other weekend, shared fairly across the team
14. Maximum availability: 4 weekdays + alternate weekends
Training & support
15. Full, paid training provided (no experience required)
16. Ongoing support from a friendly, local office team
17. Thoughtful scheduling to reduce unnecessary travel
