Job Description
Duties include but are not limited to:
Managing an effective risk management framework with minimal supervision, providing an opinion on the standard of risk management across the business.
Ensuring other teams across the business understand the risk management framework/tools used to identify, assess, manage and report their risks.
Providing advice, challenge and expertise on a range of complex risk issues to internal stakeholders.
Undertaking initiatives including facilitating risk workshops and leading the risk training programmes across the business.
Regularly assessing key processes and controls, providing reliable opinions on their effectiveness.
Providing oversight and assessment of new products and other material changes to ensure that risks have been fully considered and agreed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Risk Manager should have:
* Proven experience as a Risk Manager or Risk Analyst, particularly in the Financial Services industry.
* Strong knowledge of risk assessment and frameworks.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
