The successful candidate will bring a strong analytical foundation, deep sector knowledge, and a demonstrated ability to generate differentiated investment insights across both long and short positions.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive fundamental research and financial analysis on companies across the global automotive value chain, including OEMs, parts suppliers, and emerging electric vehicle (EV) disruptors.
* Develop and maintain detailed financial models, sector frameworks, and valuation tools to support investment decisions.
* Identify and present high-conviction investment ideas to Portfolio Managers, with clearly articulated risk/reward profiles.
* Monitor industry developments, technological innovations, regulatory shifts, and macroeconomic factors affecting the automotive sector globally.
* Collaborate with other investment professionals to inform broader portfolio strategy and risk management.
Candidate Profile
* A minimum of 3–7 years’ experience in equity research or investment analysis, ideally within a long/short equity strategy.
* Extensive experience covering the automotive sector, including traditional and electric vehicle segments.
* Demonstrated ability to originate and support actionable investment ideas through independent, bottom-up analysis.
* Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, coupled with sound judgment and commercial acumen.
* Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present complex ideas succinctly and persuasively.
