We are seeking a driven, detail‑focused professional to join our established, close‑knit team and help accelerate the company’s growth. You’ll bring enthusiasm, accuracy, and determination, along with the confidence to push projects forward and contribute to our success.
You must have solid experience preparing quotations and tender documents and be comfortable coordinating with all project stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, competitive submissions. The role centers on supporting the sales team by producing clear, accurate estimates and quotations that meet specification, quality, cost, and timeline requirements. You will also play a key part in building strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring everyone has the reliable information they need to make confident decisions.

including suggesting alternative, better quality/value solutions where appropriate

* Develop and foster relationships with clients and key Internal stakeholders.
* Liaise with external suppliers to obtain prices to enable accurate quotations, fostering strong supplier relationships.
* Create detailed quotation documents for the Sales Team, using our custom Excel quoting system.
Ensure that any subsequent variations to original quotations are included, costed, andagreed.
* Ensure exceptional customer service via complete and timely responses at all points in the enquiry, tendering and pricing process and during follow ups.
* Providing detailed handovers to the Operations team ensuring full understanding of assumptions and the target hours and costs for the team to work to.
* Close liaison with the Sales and Operations, providing information of jobs won and programme for the production schedule, ensuring fit with production capacity.
* Tracking of the on-going value of quotations and performance statistics for jobs won and lost.
* Providing information to the operations/finance team for project valuations and evaluations.
* Manage and develop estimating spreadsheets to look to optimise and improve quoting process.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Ideally, from a sales/estimating background within the commercial/contract office furniture industry or related products - industry knowledge of Office Furniture and Design (Preferable but not essential)
* Interpret CAD Layouts/Drawings
* IT literate Microsoft Office (training on our systems will be provided)
* Excel Advanced
