We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and caring individual to join our team within Inclusion Recovery Hampshire, a drug and alcohol treatment and support service for individuals impacted by their own or someone else’s use of alcohol or drugs. Inclusion Recovery Hampshire is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our dynamic team. As a leading community drug and alcohol service provider, we are committed to delivering exceptional care and support to individuals dealing with substance use issues. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you would provide high quality clinical interventions including opiate substitute prescribing, alcohol detoxification and relapse prevention medication, health and wellbeing interventions and blood borne virus screening and vaccinations. Advert As an NMP at Inclusion Recovery Hampshire, you'll be an essential part of our holistic care approach, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Reporting to the Clinical Lead for Hampshire, you'll contribute expertise in medication prescribing and high-quality care. Working for our organisation Inclusion, created in 2002 is part of the Specialist Services Care Group of Midlands Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (MPFT). We provide caring and effective services across England, including, West Yorkshire, West Midlands, East Midlands, West Mercia, Thames Valley, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and Thurrock, Essex. We support individuals, families and communities who are affected by addiction, crime, mental health or need treatment for their sexual health. Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please see the Job Description and Person Specification for further details, a summary is below: Collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, recovery workers, managers, and allied health colleagues to ensure a multidisciplinary approach and facilitate safe and positive outcomes for service users. Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to determine appropriate treatment plans, including opiate substitute prescribing and alcohol detoxification. Prescribe and review medication, including opiate substitutes and alcohol detox medications, following best practices guidelines. Offer health and wellbeing interventions, providing guidance and support tailored to individual needs. Facilitate BBV screening and vaccinations, contributing to the overall health improvement of service users. Contribute to the review of serious incident investigations, providing expertise and insights to enhance learning and improve practice.
