A well-established transport planning and highway consultancy based in Bristol, working with clients across the UK are looking for a Traffic Analyst to join their team. They deliver expert advice and design services on projects of all sizes - from feasibility through planning, design, and implementation.
The Role
We are looking to recruit a Traffic Analyst to join their growing team.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing traffic generation and distribution calculations
* Predicting future traffic flows at specific junctions or across wider networks
* Undertaking junction capacity testing using PICADY, ARCADY, LINSIG and ideally TRANSYT
* Supporting work with SATURN and VISSIM
* Presenting results clearly in technical notes and reports
* Working collaboratively with our Transport Planners and Highway Design Engineers
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
* A few years’ experience in a similar traffic/transport role and/or a degree in Maths or Engineering with an interest in transport planning and a willingness to learn
* Ability to work well as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail
* Good communication skills for presenting technical findings
