About the Role We are looking for a passionate and driven SEN Progress Coach to play a key role in enhancing Adult Learning provision and supporting our mission to meet the needs of local businesses, communities, and key partners. This is a pivotal position within the Study Programmes department, supporting learners, tutors, and teaching assistants while contributing to the success, development, and expansion of adult learning. You will join a dedicated, hardworking, and supportive team, working flexibly across the academic year to ensure learners achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Manage and support a team of Teaching Assistants to ensure high-quality learner support Chair EHCP annual reviews and prepare detailed reports Review and maintain Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) in line with statutory guidance Set and monitor ambitious, realistic learner targets to promote independence and progression Act as a key communication link between learners, tutors, wellbeing staff, and managers Monitor learner progress, attendance, and achievement, producing data reports and identifying interventions Support recruitment, transitions, and progression events Build strong relationships with schools and external stakeholders Contribute to safeguarding, equality and diversity, and quality standards Provide flexible support across departments, including evening/weekend work during key periods About You We are seeking an individual who is: A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities A team player who is also self-motivated and able to work independently Passionate about supporting learners to succeed Positive, forward-thinking, and solution-focused with a can-do attitude Confident working with individuals of varying abilities and backgrounds Able to motivate others and adapt to new ways of working
