Position SummaryWe are seeking a Packaging Associate to support the production of microbiological diagnostic products.within a controlled clean room environment. This role sits within the Microbiology Division (MBD) and plays a keypart in delivering solutions that support infectious disease diagnosis andbacterial contamination detection, contributing directly to public health andsafety.
Pay Rate: £13.20/hr PAYE basicLocation: On-site Horsham - Langhurst wood Rd Mon-FriShift: Flexible 14:-22:15Duration: 3 months Desired Start Date: 25/05/2026Hrs/Wk: 37.50
Key Responsibilities
* Operate on dispensing lines:
* Feed plates into production lines
* Inspect and check produced plates
* Load plates onto trays for drying
* Perform packing activities:
* Pack dried plates into foil pouches
* Box finished products into sales units
* Assemble, bag, and package accessory products as required
* Reconcile batch numbers and maintain production accuracy
* Manufacture ID seals and labels
* Maintain cleanliness in controlled clean and packing areas
* Follow all SOPs and GMP processes
Qualifications & Experience
* Manufacturing/production/operations experience
* Laboratory or similar environment exposure
* Experience working in a cGMP environment
* Must be comfortable working in temperatures between 2°C and 8°C
* High School Diploma or equivalent
