About the Role
Syntech are looking for a number of Calibration Engineers to join a large TIC services business (Test, Inspection & Calibration). This is a business with global reach and offers career progression & training.
Dimensional Calibration Engineer duties:
As a Dimensional Calibration Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
* Performing dimensional calibration of a variety of gauges, fixtures, and measuring instruments
* Ensuring calibrations meet internal and national standards (UKAS experience is highly desirable)
* Recording and maintaining accurate documentation and calibration certificates
* Supporting internal audits and process improvement initiatives
* Communicating with customers or departments to ensure clarity on technical findings
Dimensional Calibration Engineer knowledge:
* Solid experience in dimensional calibration (e.g., micrometers, verniers, height gauges, thread gauges)
* Familiarity with metrology and traceability standards
* Experience working within a UKAS-accredited environment (or understanding of ISO 17025)
* A methodical mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
* Strong communication and team collaboration skills
