Main duties of the job
To perform a range of physiological cardiac investigations on both inpatients and outpatients across a broad age range, delivering high quality, evidence based holistic care.
To produce technical reports and analysis of investigations, working both independently and under supervision that will have a direct effect on patient care.
Preparation and monitoring of patients for complex cardiac investigations.
To promote a collaborative approach to care whilst supporting and facilitating the learning of others.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* BSC (Hons) in healthcare science (Cardiac Science) or equivalent.
* ILS certification.
* Society for Cardiological Science and Technology (SCST) Exams
* Professional registration with the Academy of Healthcare Science (AHCS / RCCP)
Experience
* Experience in a range of cardiac physiology investigations.
* Evidence of CPD within Cardiology field
Skills
* IT literate
* Competent in 12 lead ECGs, performing & reporting ETT & HUTT, ambulatory monitoring preparation and analysis, haemodynamic monitoring/recording during cardiac angiography.
