Contract Type: Permanent Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week Number of Positions: 1 Qualifications Required: Recognised IT qualification Start Date: 23 rd February 2026 Salary: £26,403 - £28,142 per annum We currently have an exciting opportunity for IT Engineer to join our fantastic central team at Prospere Learning Trust. This is a Grade 4, permanent post working 35 hours per week, all year round. The starting full time salary is £26,403. Main purpose of the job: To provide specialist technical IT support across Trust Academies including the development and maintenance of infrastructure / resources and to provide general support to staff and pupils To work collaboratively with all staff and parents/carers to support student well-being and promote the values of the Trust and each school. Under the direction of the Head of IT Services support the installation, maintenance, availability and security of the Trust-wide network, hardware, and software. To make a key contribution to the development of and support provided by the IT Services Team across all schools through the provision and delivery of a highly effective service. To have a basic understanding of IT's role in safeguarding and the measures used to support a safe working environment for staff and students. The interviews to be held at Greenacres, Wythenshawe, M23 2SZ shortly after the closing date. About the Candidate We’re looking for: Someone who is suitably qualified, and in possession of a full driving license. The ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of computer network fundamentals and computer components, and a keen interest in IT. Along with good analytical and problem-solving skills. We seek a highly motivated individual with good communication and customer service skills.
