Are you a driven Banking & Finance Solicitor looking to join a top‑tier national firm with an exceptional reputation in the financial services sector? Our client, a leading UK practice, is seeking an ambitious lawyer to strengthen their growing Banking & Finance team in Birmingham.
The Opportunity
You’ll work as part of a high‑performing team supporting major UK and international banks, financial institutions, private equity houses, corporate borrowers, and alternative lenders. You’ll be exposed to a broad mix of complex and high‑value transactions, including:
* Corporate and leveraged finance
* Acquisition and real estate finance
* Asset‑based lending
* General corporate lending and refinancing
* Syndicated and bilateral lending arrangements
* Intercreditor, security and restructuring support
The role offers exceptional hands‑on exposure, direct client contact, and involvement in high‑profile transactions across multiple sectors.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
* Be a qualified Solicitor with 2–6 years’ PQE within a recognised banking & finance practice.
* Have strong experience drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security documentation, and ancillary documents.
* Demonstrate excellent technical ability and commercial awareness.
* Be confident managing transactions and liaising with clients, counterparties, and internal stakeholders.
* Be proactive, collaborative, and keen to develop within a leading national platform.
