We’re looking for a proactive and collaborative Data Protection Manager to join our Asset Management Data team. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and lead data privacy initiatives in a dynamic and supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing:
* Managing subject access requests, RFP responses, and other business-as-usual activities
* Overseeing change initiatives with a focus on GDPR compliance and risk assessment
* Engaging with new suppliers and ensuring completion of GDPR documentation
* Collaborating with offshore teams and guiding privacy-related activities
* Maintaining and updating data protection policies and procedures
* Conducting audits and assessments to identify and mitigate data risks
* Delivering training and guidance on data protection best practices
* Monitoring industry trends and advising on policy and process updates
Qualifications - Who we’re looking for:
* Bringing professional certification in data protection (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) or a willingness to obtain one
* Demonstrating experience with OneTrust or similar data privacy platforms
* Possessing strong knowledge of GDPR and other relevant regulations
* Communicating clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders
* Thriving in both independent and team-based working environments
* Showing a structured, problem-solving mindset with commercial awareness
* Being passionate about data privacy and motivated to drive positive change
