Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of the café, including managing staff, inventory, and customer service.
* Ensure high-quality food and beverage offerings are consistently provided to customers.
* End of day procedures: Cashing up tills, securing the building, locking and alarming.
* Train and supervise café staff.
* Create work schedules and delegate tasks to staff members.
* Maintain a clean and organized café environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
* Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing initiatives.
* Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
* Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for menu updates or changes.
Skills:
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Experience as a barista, supervisory experience in hospitality.
* Familiarity with hospitality industry standards.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
