Newbury Manor School is seeking an outstanding Teacher to join our team on a 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be ambitious, energetic, and committed, aiming to expand our pupils' learning experiences. You will teach and support young people who may have autism, emotional behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and related complex needs. Applicants must hold QTS or have experience as an Unqualified Teacher.

About the School
Located in a Georgian manor house near Frome, Somerset, Newbury Manor School caters to young people aged 7 to 19 with ASD. We provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment to help students understand and overcome their difficulties, fostering independence and self-esteem.
Responsibilities
* Deliver lessons that meet students' diverse needs, ensuring planning, assessment, and reporting are thorough and accurate.
* Use appropriate teaching strategies for students with SEN.
* Provide regular reports to stakeholders, including SLT, governors, and parents.
* Maintain detailed records of student progress and assessments.
* Uphold the school's ethos and values both inside and outside the classroom.
* Collaborate with key workers and therapeutic teams to follow care plans and develop educational schemes.
* Ensure high standards of safeguarding and professional practice.
