Behaviour Support
Location: Caerphilly | Contract: Temporary / Supply (Part-Time or Full-Time, Term-Time Only) | Pay: £89.38 per day | Start: 3rd of November 2025
A highly motivated and adaptable professional providing dedicated behaviour and learning support in a secondary school environment. Skilled in promoting positive behaviour, encouraging engagement, and fostering an inclusive, supportive atmosphere for all learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging pre-set lessons across a variety of subjects, ensuring smooth classroom delivery and effective learning.
* Manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategies to maintain a calm, focused learning environment.
* Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions for students with emotional, behavioural, or additional learning needs.
* Support pupil progress by working collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral departments.
* Encourage motivation, resilience, and active participation among students.
Key Skills & Attributes:
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills with a confident classroom presence.
* Empathetic, patient, and proactive in supporting diverse student needs.
* Experienced in or passionate about youth work, psychology, sport, or behaviour mentoring.
* Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting student wellbeing.
* Hold (or willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
