Job Description:
Our client is a UK market leader with rare opportunities to join their established Estates team. We are seeking interest for both an Estate Surveyor and a Senior Estates Surveyor position, to take direct ownership of a significant predominantly leasehold property portfolio.
Responsibilities of an Estate/Senior Estates Surveyor
* Manage a varied leasehold property portfolio.
* Undertake lease renewal and rent reviews.
* Liaise with solicitors on lease clauses and legal matters.
* Draft internal fitouts and layouts with external contractors.
* Approve rents, service charges, and insurance costs prior to payment.
* Maintain the property database.
* Source properties for new locations and relocations, agreeing on Heads of Terms.
* Dispose of vacant properties via lease expiry, assignment, or sublease options.
* Manage building repairs and maintenance works.
The Person
Hold an RICS-accredited degree and preferably be a qualified RICS member.
Experience in lease advisory, asset management, or estates is advantageous.
Hold a full clean driving license for UK-wide travel.
Coordinate with departments like Finance, Internal Audit, and Health & Safety.
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience with estates issues, including rent reviews, lease renewals, and property management, with further experience in acquisitions, disposals, business rates, alterations, dilapidations, and green lease issues.

Salary range: £40,000-£75,000 depending on experience, with excellent benefits including a fully expensed hybrid car, profit share scheme, and other company benefits.
