Your new role
An exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join our Administration team. You’ll be responsible for supporting all RoslinCT sites across Edinburgh, as well as providing administrative support to RoslinCT departments. Day‑to‑day responsibilities will include:
* General office duties, including filing, photocopying, scanning and archiving.
* Organising meetings, conferences, events, travel/accommodation and training courses.
* Managing the external mail for RoslinCT and organising couriers.
* Being the first point of contact for incoming calls, fielding calls to the relevant person or department as appropriate.
* Meeting and greeting visitors and directing them appropriately whilst presenting a professional and organised image.
* Performing adhoc tasks as required by the Office Manager.
* Assisting with other departments when necessary.
About you
* Prior experience working in an administrative role.
* Strong administrative and record keeping skills.
* Proficient with IT, particularly in Microsoft Office packages and excellent typing skills.
* Exceptional communication skills, particularly when representing the company whilst dealing with suppliers and clients.
* Exceptional organisational and planning skills, dealing with delivering multiple tasks to complete to deadline.
* Bringing a flexible and enthusiastic attitude while working within a small team in a fast-paced environment.
