A prestigious and academically ambitious independent school in Yorkshire is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and dedicated Business & Economics Teacher to join its accomplished Social Sciences faculty.

Job Overview

Our client is recruiting for a Business & Economics Teacher to start in January or April 2026. This respected independent school is known for its academic success, outstanding pastoral care, and holistic approach to developing confident, articulate learners.

The successful candidate will deliver dynamic, engaging, and academically rigorous Business Studies and Economics lessons from KS4 to KS5, teaching pupils who are highly motivated, respectful, and deeply curious about the world of enterprise, finance, and global economics.

Business & Economics Teacher – Experience & Qualifications

* Degree in Business, Economics, or related discipline
* PGCE/QTS
* Strong subject knowledge up to A-Level
* Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
* Ability to inspire academic curiosity in pupils
* Legal right to work in the UK
