Hinkley Point C is the first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years !! Based in Somerset it will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and career opportunities.
As a document controller you will manage and control all project documents and workflows to ensure accurate registration, storage of information/correspondence, accurate liaison with site team, subcontractors, customers, external suppliers to provide subject matter expertise and coaching on the use of Business Collaborator and other information management platforms to relevant teams/subcontractors.
What you'll be doing
As a Document Controller you will have the following accountabilities:
1. Manage and maintain confidential records and Protectively Marked Material
2. Manage the control of Internal and External registers, to ensure they both align.
3. Create templates and file all relevant documentation, SharePoint and other platforms.
4. Distribute information with correct configuration management and version control.
5. Support in review of supply chain specialists
6. Support in compilation, control, and submission of H&S file/Quality Handover information
7. Execute contractual requirements in relation to document control as noted by senior personnel.
8. Ensure accurate control of digital information from pre-construction through to archiving.
9. Manage business archiving such that all documentation is stored efficiently and can be accessed and references at all times.
Who we're looking for
The following qualities/experience are essential:
10. Experience of document control
11. Able to obtain a Security Clearance
12. Proficient in IT systems used in documentation control.
13. Able to communicate effectively
14. Good interpersonal skills that enable working relationships to be developed at all levels across the business
