Role: Project Manager
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Walthamstow or Hampton (Choice of offices with hybrid working offered)
Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 p/a (DOE)
We are seeking a talented Project Manager to join a market leader in the water industry, working from their Hampton or Walthamstow Offices, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements.
As a key member of the team, you will be accountable for overseeing the successful execution of contracts, ensuring compliance with specifications, deadlines, and budgetary constraints while prioritising the health and safety of all projects and enhancing client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Advocating for exemplary safety and quality standards across our workforce, both direct and subcontracted
2. Implementation of the Business Management System (BMS) throughout all project stages, from tender handover to final completion
3. Cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships at all levels
4. Ensuring adequate staffing levels for projects and clarifying individual responsibilities
5. Strategic project planning, including reviewing and endorsing the Project Execution Plan
6. Preparation and approval of detailed construction plans and method statements prior to project commencement
7. Proactive management of all commercial aspects of projects, providing accurate forecasts and estimates in a timely manner
Requirements:
8. Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry
9. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in construction, commercial, or engineering-related discipline
10. Project Management Qualification (PMQ) or equivalent certification
11. Familiarity with Construction Contracts, particularly NEC and/or IChemE
12. Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety regulations
13. Previous experience in water and waste water treatment plants (advantageous)
