Job Introduction
We are looking for a Catering Supervisor to join our team at Dennison Barracks, Thatcham. In this hands-on role, you’ll lead a small team to deliver efficient and high-quality food services, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and compliance with food safety standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with supervisory experience in a catering or hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
* Supervise and support the daily operations of the catering service
* Lead, motivate and develop a team of food service assistants
* Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times
* Assist in food preparation and ensure food is presented to a high standard
* Support with stock control, ordering, and stock rotation
* Handle customer queries and provide excellent customer service
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Sodexo policies
* Report to the Catering Manager and support in administrative duties when required
What we are looking for
* Previous experience in a similar supervisory catering or hospitality role
* Excellent leadership and team-working skills
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
* Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards (Level 2 or above preferred)
* A positive and professional attitude in a busy environment
