NHV Group is a European-based helicopter service provider, specializing in business-to-business helicopter services both offshore and onshore.
The helicopter B1.3 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance (line and base) of helicopters. They work in a team of engineers and report to the Maintenance Lead.
Main Responsibilities
Line Maintenance
* Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations;
* Ensure all line maintenance tasks meet the standards of the UK CAA and M.O.E. instructions;
* Coordinate with engineers to develop a flexible work planning and roster based on business needs to support continuity;
* Complete maintenance within designated timeframes to ensure aircraft availability;
* Analyze and resolve daily operational issues based on pilot and relevant information;
* Brief and debrief pilots and Maintenance Lead;
* Perform pre-flight checks (PRF);
* Coordinate with NHV Supply Chain, Store, and support services to ensure availability of maintenance materials and spare parts at the right times;
* Report daily maintenance status to the Maintenance Lead.
Base Maintenance
* Comply with the requirements as described in the regulations;
* Ensure all maintenance tasks meet UK CAA and M.O.E. standards;
* Coordinate with engineers to develop a flexible work planning and roster based on business needs to support continuity;
* Complete maintenance within designated timeframes to ensure aircraft availability;
* Brief and debrief the Maintenance Lead; report and update on maintenance status;
* Participate in daily morning briefings (toolbox meetings);
* Coordinate with NHV Supply Chain, Store, and support services for material and spare parts availability.
Skills & Experience
* UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 License;
* Extensive relevant aviation experience, preferably as a licensed engineer;
* Experience in various aviation companies is a plus;
* Proficient in ICT, including aviation-specific software and MS Office;
* Professional proficiency in English;
* Knowledge and adherence to company procedures and processes (operational, quality, safety);
* Ability to debrief pilots, flight crew, and Maintenance Lead;
* Experience in shift handovers;
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and improve work processes;
* Logical thinking skills.
