The role You’ll lead the B2B sales function, setting direction while staying close to the detail. You’ll be trusted to develop the sales strategy, personally lead high-value conversations and support the growth of a capable, motivated team.
You’ll work closely with the senior leadership team and have genuine influence over how the business grows.
What you’ll be doing
Owning and delivering the B2B sales strategy
Leading high-value, consultative sales conversations with senior stakeholders
Building, coaching and developing a high-performing sales team
Generating new opportunities through hands-on outreach, relationships and presence in the market
Keeping a clear, accurate pipeline and forecast
Working closely with colleagues across the business to ensure a strong client experience
Feeding market insight back into wider commercial decision-making
What they’re looking for Essential
Proven experience in senior B2B sales leadership
A background in selling complex, consultative services
Confidence generating your own pipeline as well as leading others
A genuine player-coach mindset
Strong commercial judgement and a data-led approach to sales performance
Solid understanding of the UK B2B market, including enterprise and/or public sector environments
Nice to have
Exposure to B2B marketing activity
Experience working in regulated, funded or multi-stakeholder environments
An existing network within HR, L&D, Technology or Operations
