We're excited to open the doors to our brand new solo children's home, and we're looking for passionate, caring, and fun Residential Support Workers to be part of something truly special.

About the Home:
This is a solo placement supporting just one young person, which means more time to build a meaningful connection, tailor support to their individual needs, and genuinely make a difference every day.
The home is warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed to be a space where both adults and young people can thrive. We're all about making the home feel cosy, relaxed and full of laughs, somewhere that feels calm, safe, and just like home.
About the Role:
You'll be a consistent and trusted adult in one young person's life. Offering care, encouragement, and support in all the little (and big) ways that matter. Sleep in rate: £60
Your days will include:
* Helping with morning routines, school runs, and winding down in the evenings
* Cooking meals, baking treats, or just sharing a cuppa and a chat
* Planning fun outings — from cinema trips to countryside walks
* Offering emotional support and being someone the children can trust
* Keeping the young person safe at all times, following safeguarding policies and reporting any concerns promptly
* Encouraging independence and life skills like budgeting, cleaning, and cooking
* Creating a calm, consistent, and positive environment using the PACE approach
* Working closely with the wider care team to make sure everyone is on the same page and achieving positive outcomes for our young people
Requirements:
* A full UK driving licence
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)
* Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
* An understanding of trauma-informed care and the PACE model (training provided)
* Experience of supporting young people with complex trauma
