Job Purpose:
As the Stores Person, you will be primarily responsible for assisting the Stores Supervisor in the set up and maintenance of inventory and stock control. You will itemise, order and store all equipment, parts, tools and consumables as directed by the Stores Supervisor. You will also be responsible for distributing these items in support of both onshore and offshore teams as necessary.
Role Responsibilities:
* Receive and check deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock is delivered and sign delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
* Building effective working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Unpack and shelve deliveries as required.
* Pick stock to meet requisitions and packing lists submitted.
* Carry out issues at the daily issue counter ensuring all tools and equipment issued are fit for use inclusive PAT sticker if required.
* Carry out stores area general housekeeping tasks such as: shelf numbering, area conservancy etc as required/directed by the Stores Supervisor
* Comply with all Company and Statutory Health and Safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
* Support the Stores Supervisor with the accurate reporting of low or high moving inventory, breakages and spills and missing or damaged stock when required.
* Undertake other miscellaneous duties as directed by management.
* Responsible for ensuring compliance with both safety, environmental and quality standards during the execution of their tasks, helping to foster a safe and quality-driven work environment.

Required Experience:
Skills required:
* Proactive, able to work autonomously within tight timescales managing multi-disciplined projects/tasks.
* Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
* Proven experience in stock taking or related work.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to see tasks through to completion.
* Strong problem solver with a solution orientated approach.
* Flexibility in terms of task and location.

Qualifications:
* Forklift licence
* Trade skill (desirable)
* Must have a full U.K. driving Licence.
