Castle Employment Group are working with a prestigious Estate in Middlesbrough who are looking for an eager Chef to join the team of one of their restaurants on site. You would be offering support across lunch & dinner service working for a modern style menu in a field to fork environment.
You would be working 40 hours a week over 5 days with a starting salary of £28,000, in this role you would also benefit from a quarterly service charge, meals on duty & full uniform. The right candidate would be diligent and passionate about food and operate with high levels of service. Previous experience at Chef De Partie level would be required and a willingness to succeed and progress in their career.
Role:
1. Prepare food using ingredients from the state as well as other local producers.
2. Be under the guidance of the Executive Chef
3. Comply with all Health & Safety, Food Safety and COSHH Requirements
4. Ensure good communication throughout the kitchen department.
5. Run a section of the kitchen.
6. Attend meetings as requested by management.
7. Be actively involved in the management of stock and staff alongside the Senior kitchen team.
8. Working in conjunction with the team with events & conferences
Requirements:
9. Knowledge of Food Safety, Health & Safety and COSHH
10. Similar work experience
11. Relevant Catering Qualifications including NVQ & Food Safety
12. Good levels of communication and spoken English
