My client are looking to add to their Technical Authoring team and take on a knowledgeable Technical Author.
You will work closely with the Development team to produce high quality documentation and release notes for customers, as well as a myriad of other activities.
The ideal candidate will be happy to be in the office 1 or 2 days per week.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining and expanding release notes, online resources and other materials
* Working with Jira
* Product testing as it applies to creating robust and relevant documentation
* Writing, reviewing and editing content utilising various tools including Jira, Word, Google Docs and Madcap Flare
* Maintaining up to date files with version control
* Providing training where required
Core skills required:
1. 2+ years of experience working as a Technical Author
2. Experience working with Development teams/Developers to create precise and thorough release notes
