The Role
1. Team members form a vital part of sub-teams working on a rolling rota, providing crucial overnight care and support, which deeply impacts the young boys by ensuring their safety and comfort (in reality this is quite minimal).
2. The Waking Night team, essential in safeguarding the service, also maintains the environment and manages necessary paperwork, enabling a seamless transition from day to night.
3. During quiet nights, team members may address the immediate needs of the boys, such as comforting them after a nightmare or helping them settle back to sleep, thereby offering reassurance and stability.
