Job Title: Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Remote, UK

Remuneration: Daily rate £280

Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract until June 30, 2026

Working Pattern: Full Time


Responsibilities:


Planning Cycle

• Forecasting: Providing suppliers a demand picture across various infrastructure categories.

• Prepositioning: Strategically placing inventory to meet future needs.

• Engineering BOM Management: Managing Bills of Materials for engineering components.

• Inventory management and Analytics & Power BI Reporting: Using data tools to analyse and visualize inventory trends.


Business Operations

· Track and report on OKRs/KPIs.

· Lead production meetings with stakeholders to monitor execution and changes.

· Publish production planning reports.

· Conduct deep analytics to ensure supply security.

· Apply manufacturing best practices to supplier engagement and inventory management (e.g., WIP, procurement cycles, quality, testing, on-time delivery).

Technical Skills Required

• Proficient in SQL (writing queries, joins, optimizing queries for performance)

• Strong experience with Power BI (semantic models, DAX, dashboard design)

• Skilled in Python for data cleaning, transformation, and light analytics

• Solid understanding of data modelling and relational database design

• Experience building ETL pipelines and working with large datasets (e.g., Fabric Lakehouse, Azure Data Factory, or similar)

• Ability to design scalable reporting solutions for executive, program, and project-level audiences

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills (ability to partner with both technical and business teams)


Qualifications & Experience our client requires:

• Experience in supply chain management

• Programming experience and in Excel

• BS/BA in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Operations, Finance, or a related field

• Strong analytical skills and experience in forecasting and inventory management.

• Previous Data Centre exposure/experience

• Demonstrated ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries

• Willingness to adapt quickly to shifting business priorities

• Navigate complex corporate structures
