Requirement: Civil Site Manager (SR163 / TP137)\n\nLocation: Wales\n\nSalary: £75000 + Vehicle + Bens\n\nOur client is currently looking to recruit a SR163 / TP137 Civil Site Manager to join the team and support the existing and upcoming Substation projects they have.\n\nJoin our Electricity Transmission team as a PC Site Manager, leading high-voltage projects (66kV–400kV) for National Grid and private clients.\n\nYou’ll coordinate and supervise the site and be the go-to person on the ground, you’ll make sure everything runs smoothly from day one through to final sign-off. Here’s a quick look at some of the things you’ll be doing day-to-day to give you a feel for the role:\n\nLead daily site operations, managing operatives, subcontractors, and work activities\n\nDevelop and implement safety and quality documentation (CPPs, SQPs, RAMS)\n\nConduct inspections per ITPs and ITCs, ensuring compliance and quality\n\nOversee Temporary Works, coordinating with the Temporary Works Coordinator\n\nMonitor site performance in Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards\n\nLiaise with civil design teams to review constructability and raise technical queries\n\nChair coordination meetings and lead weekly safety walks\n\nManage procurement, cost control, and resource efficiency on site\n\nPlan and programme works, reporting progress and variations to the project team\n\nCompile handover documentation, including As-Built drawings and record\n\nSkills & Experience\n\nStrong knowledge of Electricity Transmission construction (66kV–400kV)\n\nFamiliar with NEC contracts and HSE legislation\n\nExcellent communicator and team player\n\nSkilled in budgeting, scheduling, and MS Office\n\nHolds full driving licence and willing to travel\n\nQualified in Civil Construction Engineering\n\nNational Grid TP137/SR163 authorised (or previously)\n\nIdeally holds SMSTS, HSG47, TWS, First Aid, NG NSI 8
