Lift Rawlett is part of Lift Schools, a multi‑academy trust of 59 schools, located at Comberford Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 9AA, United Kingdom. The school is led by Executive Principal Jo Paddock and Head of School Tom Martin. The role is full‑time and is initially fixed‑term until August 2027 with the intent to become permanent.
Your new role
As Vice Principal, you will provide visibly values‑driven leadership across the school, working closely with the Executive Principal, Head of School and the senior leadership team to drive sustained improvement.
Responsibilities
* Lead and develop staff, ensuring high expectations and strong accountability
* Drive excellence in student outcomes, culture and personal development
* Oversee key areas such as culture and behaviour, pastoral provision, attendance, safeguarding, teaching and learning, curriculum and wider school improvement
* Deputise for senior leaders when required and play a central role within the wider SLT
Qualifications / Experience
* Strong track record of successful leadership and school improvement
* Ability to lead, develop and inspire staff
* Excellent communication, resilience and ability to lead with clarity and consistency
* Deep commitment to ensuring all students succeed, regardless of background
* Vision, drive and ambition to contribute to the continued improvement of the school
