About the Role:
The industrial cleaning operative is responsible for the smooth running of industrial cleaning activities on customer sites and at RED Industries Group premises, always taking instruction from the Industrial cleaning supervisor. Read and understand job specific method statements, risk assessments & COSHH assessments. Responsible for control of their own PPE and method of work according to the RAMS. First Aider duties (if accredited)
Main Duties:
* Comply with confined space procedures, use of high-pressure water jetting equipment and other industrial site service requirements.
* Ensure compliance with specific H&S regulations and any site-specific requirements.
* Keep up regular near miss reporting.
* Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of plant and equipment, including vehicles.
* Ensure site/customer requirements have been satisfied and jobs are completed to full scope.
* Liaison with customers and site contacts as and when required.
* Keep up good communication with line manager.
Critical Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Prior to Employment:
* Full clean UK driving licence
* Experience of industrial cleaning activities on customers sites.
* Working knowledge of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments and Health and Safety Legislation
* Working at Height
* Confined Space Entry
* High Pressure Jetting
* Good team working skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to multitask
