Job Function
To support the Depot Manager with the day-to-day administration and depot operations, ensuring smooth coordination across teams and efficient management of assets.
Reporting to: Depot Manager Liaising with:
Operations Manager, Head Office, Depot Managers, Depot Engineers, Drivers, and the Fleet & Transport team Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a focused and passionate individual to join our dynamic team at the Major Repairs depot as a Depot Administrator. You will play a key role in supporting the Depot Manager with all administrative and operational tasks, whilst also taking responsibility for asset management activities such as adding new assets to the fleet system and re-categorising assets following refurbishment.
Key Responsibilities
* Allocation of repair jobs onto PDAs
* Completion and upkeep of daily stock sheets
* Carrying out weekly fleet audits on a rota basis
* Adding new assets to the fleet system, ensuring all details are accurate and up to date
* Re-categorising assets following refurbishment to maintain accurate reporting and system integrity
* Organising transport movements via DS and liaising with the Fleet & Transport team
* Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Depot Manager
* Any other ad-hoc duties to support depot operations
Requirements
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A professional and polite telephone manner
* Strong customer service skills
* Previous experience handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team
* Ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision
* Good IT literacy, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
