Pictures for the People is an award winning social enterprise production company that provides job opportunities for unemployed and disadvantaged young people. Working with Jobcentre Plus and The Prince's Trust, we seek to uplift disadvantaged young people with training and support throughout our productions.
Pictures for the People partners with a variety of clients across different industries to produce commercials social video content, event coverage and animations.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Sales Executive role based in Shoreditch with flexible remote work. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads and sales, building and maintaining relationships with clients, understanding client needs and requirements, managing project schedules and budgets, and assisting with project planning and coordination.
The main responsibilities of the Sales Executive will be defined by four key areas:
1. E mail Campaigning – Preparing and sending prospective emails on a weekly basis. Organisation, lead generation and data management are key for this task.
2. Meeting with new and current clients to discuss their filming requirements.
3. Outlining strategies for new clients, styles of management and video concepts that can help improve our films, client base, operations and service.
4. Taking part in production activities to assist our production team and build further knowledge on these activities.
A background in film production is not at all essential for this role. We are looking for candidates who have a keen interest in sales, marketing, lead generation and business development. These are the key skills needed; knowledge of the film production and post production processes will be learnt as an addition to these core requirements.
It is essential that candidates have demonstrable experience in sales and are keen to maximise their salary based on commission received for booking new work with clients.
Key skills needed will include:
1. High level of confidence and tenacity, with an ability to speak to new people.
2. An ability and desire to be able to sell new services to clients.
3. Excellent organisation skills with the ability to implement systems for managing and tracking new clients, existing clients and current film projects being managed.
4. Lead generation skills and experience is a good asset for this role.
5. Excellent people skills when meeting with clients and managing film shoots.
6. High level of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Outlook and Excel (Hubspot CRM is a bonus).

Qualifications
* Sales, Business Development, and Relationship Management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Project Management and Planning skills
* Experience in the media, advertising, or video production industries (not essential)
* Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant field
* Experience working with young people or as part of a social enterprise
* High level of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Outlook and Excel (Hubspot CRM is a bonus).
