Job Description
Elevation Recruitment Group are currently seeking an experienced Interim Quality Engineer to support our Quality department during a peak period. This role is focused heavily on administrative quality activities and would suit a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in documentation and reporting processes within a high-compliance manufacturing environment. This is an inital 3-4 month contract with string likelihood of permanent employment after this time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creation, review, and submission of FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
* Support and maintain APQP documentation
* Manage and process supplier and internal concessions, including root cause analysis, documentation, and follow-up.
* Assist in maintaining quality records and traceability documentation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of quality deliverables.
* Contribute to internal audits and assist with preparations for external audits when required.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of FAIRs, APQP, PPAP, and concession handling.
* Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Proficient in using MS Office and quality management systems (QMS).
* Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
