As a Band 4 Rehabilitation Assistant, youll be part of our valued team based at Swindon Intermediate Care Centre.

Essential Skills & Experience
* Good literacy and numeracy skills (5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent). Confident using computers, including Word, Outlook, and the internet.
* NVQ or relevant qualification in a related field.
* Understanding and/or experience of stroke care and rehabilitation.
* Experience working in the NHS or NHScommissioned services.
* Previous experience in at least one relevant role (e.g., Physiotherapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Rehabilitation Assistant, Speech & Language Therapy Assistant, or Carer). Experience working in community settings.
* Manual handling skills relevant to stroke rehabilitation.
* Able to work independently, use initiative, and identify your own learning needs.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your own caseload.
* Effective communication skills, including supporting people with communication barriers.
* Empathetic, peoplefocused, and able to build rapport.
* Good problemsolving skills and adaptability in changing situations.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Foundation Degree in a related area.
* Experience working at Band 4.
