Workshop Technician Location: Redhill, Surrey Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 (Dependant on experience) Role Purpose: We are looking for a motivated Workshop Technician to maintain and repair plant machinery, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition. The role involves working collaboratively with the team to complete maintenance tasks efficiently, both in the workshop and on-site when required. Key Responsibilities: 1. Complete daily work schedules as assigned by the Workshop Manager. 2. Inspect plant machinery returned from hire, reporting any damage, required cleaning, or refuelling needs. 3. Prepare plant machinery for hire, following checklists, fitting new parts as needed, and performing all necessary tests. 4. Attend on-site breakdowns, carrying out repairs, and providing detailed reports on parts used and repairs completed. 5. Perform plant maintenance and repairs in the yard, applying knowledge of parts’ lifecycles. 6. Keep the workshop clean and organised, ensuring tools are stored correctly and workspaces are tidy. 7.
