Bilfinger UK are looking for an Area Lead to join us full time on Hinkley Point C. This is a permanent position based full time on site Monday to Friday 40 hours a week staff salary
* Implement quality control measures to ensure that all construction work meets the stringent standards required for nuclear facilities. This involves regular inspections and testing of materials and processes.
* Develop and enforce safety protocols specific to nuclear construction, addressing the unique hazards associated with the environment. Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety among all personnel.
* Act as the primary point of contact between various stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and regulatory bodies. Ensure that all parties are informed of progress, challenges, and changes to the project.
* Prepare and present regular reports on construction progress, safety performance, and any issues that may arise, ensuring transparency and accountability.
* Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget.
* Develop and maintain construction schedules, coordinating with other areas of the project to minimize delays and conflicts.
