The project\: This project is for high tech manufacturing.
Providing support for delivering client-facing consultancy services including the advisory, management and co-ordination of various climate change, sustainability and/or social value related activities on projects and/or programmes. Supports Mace's wider corporate ambitions to reduce client carbon emissions to meet organisational targets.
You'll be responsible for:
* Supporting the development of client climate change, sustainability and/or social value strategies on individual projects, including agreeing project outcomes and ensuring delivery by project team.
* Providing service excellence, delivering purpose-led and measurable outcomes for clients, with particular focus on climate change, social value, and biodiversity.
* Providing technical expertise and promotes innovation in a particular area of sustainability, such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, sustainable buildings, etc.
* Providing generalist advise and support to major issues of sustainability with all relevant stakeholders.
* Supporting work winning through bid support, innovation, client liaison, and external profile-raising of Mace/Mace services.
* Supporting the drive for Mace to be a leader in climate change and sustainability.
* Managing team, and champions career development such that they have the opportunity to work to the best of their potential in a safe and supportive environment.
* Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.
You'll need to have:
* Post‑graduate qualification with strong environmental and social sustainability expertise.
* Skilled in engaging and influencing diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* Collaborative team player with clear, accessible communication of technical topics.
* Able to drive PASW, BNG and V2S ambitions through positive influence and partnership.
