The Vacancy
We have an opportunity for a Repairs Supervisor to join our Wates team within our Responsive Maintenance division. You will be working out of our Walton-On-Thames office, so ideally, we need someone local to the KT12 area.
You will be partnering with one of our long-term social housing partners, managing a team of approximately 10 reports, so being able to manage a client and a team is key.
Works include delivering reactive and some planned maintenance to our residents.
Given the nature of the role, we are looking for an experienced supervisor from a social housing background with trade knowledge.
Key Accountabilities will include:
* Ensure high-quality service is provided with the management of work scheduling in accordance with company procedures, standards, and SLAs.
* Represent Wates at client and resident performance meetings as requested by the Operations Manager.
* Manage the responsive repairs function to ensure consistent performance against targets.
* Effectively and efficiently manage material costs and ensure all processes and procedures are followed correctly.
* Monitor quality of work through inspections, inspection reports, analysis of key performance indicators, and customer satisfaction surveys.
* Lead, manage, and contribute to the development of your team, determining optimal employment levels to provide the service.
You must have a full UK driving licence and SSSTS qualification as a minimum.
Ideally, you will also have SMSTS, Asbestos awareness UKATA.
