Gambling Harm Prevention & Education Coordinator
About the Role:
Service Care Solutions are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading Charity for a passionate and driven Gambling Harm Prevention & Education Coordinator.
Salary: £32,144 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (flexibility required for evenings/weekends)
Location: Office-based at Charity HQ with travel across the North East region
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deliver, and evaluate educational programmes for schools, community groups, and professionals
Create and adapt resources for diverse audiences, including those with SEN
Deliver training and workshops to educators, parents, and stakeholders
Build partnerships with community organisations and support youth-led initiatives
Provide early intervention, brief support, and signposting to specialist services
Passion for working with young adults and children
Engage in local networks and collaborative harm-reduction initiatives
Monitor programme impact, collect feedback, and contribute to service improvement
Ensure delivery aligns with quality standards and safeguarding requirements
Strong communication and engagement skills
Experience delivering training, workshops, or educational programmes
Able to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
Knowledge of (or willingness to learn about) gambling harm, safeguarding, and early intervention
Flexible and willing to travel
Additional Information:
Enhanced DBS check required
