Operations & Maintenance Project Manager / Asset Manager

An established and growing renewable energy business is seeking a motivated and organised Operations & Maintenance Project Manager / Asset Manager to join its expanding team in Cornwall.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation delivering Solar PV and Wind Turbine projects across the UK. The company provides a full in-house service from design and build through to long-term asset management and operations.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and managing operational renewable energy assets, ensuring sites are maintained to the highest health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and review performance of operational renewable energy sites via online monitoring portals
* Identify faults and system underperformance, diagnosing issues and coordinating solutions
* Review site inspection reports and provide technical feedback
* Collate operational data and manage compliance schedules
* Prepare and issue performance reports to clients following inspections or fault identification
* Provide performance analysis and recommend operational improvements
* Liaise with clients, Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), landowners, engineers, and external consultants
* Coordinate with O&M teams and track progress of remedial works
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 1 year’s experience working on the operation of commercial Solar PV systems
* Methodical and process-driven approach
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable Skills
* CAD experience
* Broader renewable energy industry knowledge (Solar PV and/or Wind)
* Degree qualified in Renewable Energy, Engineering, or similar discipline
