About the Role
In this pivotal position, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality technical and specification support to the business's customers. You'll manage the team in the delivery of specifications, documentation, and compliance, ensuring all product information, labelling, and regulatory data are accurate, current, and fully aligned with industry and customer standards.
This is a hands-on role that combines technical expertise with proactive problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset.
What You'll Do
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer technical enquiries and documentation requests.
* Manage, maintain, and approve product specifications, allergen and nutritional data, and labelling information.
* Oversee and improve the technical documentation system, ensuring robust version control and accuracy.
* Interpret and apply relevant food legislation, retailer guidelines, and customer standards.
* Support product launches, audits, and the technical elements of customer visits.
* Drive improvements in technical service processes and deliver training to build internal capability.
What You'll Bring
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical, specifications, or compliance role within food manufacturing.
* Proficiency with technical databases or specification management systems.
* Exceptional attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and clear communication.
