Job title: Validation Manager
Location: Several base locations available
Site based: 3 days on site 2 from home
Are you a specialist within Validation, with the ability to work as Subject Matter Expert and the drive to become a lead or manager? An opportunity has arisen for an experienced person with strong Validation Experience within a GDP (Good Distribution Practice) environment.
About the Job:
In this role, you will be the main point of contact for all Validation related activities which will consist of the full distribution, storage, and shipping life cycle. You will be expected to bring your own ideas with regards to Validation strategies and ensuring Validation templates are set as a company-wide standard.
In good time, there will be opportunities to grow the team, and the role will become a people management position (with the relevant training available). For this reason, this is a great opportunity for someone who has the desire to help grow a team, to lead from the front, and manage a small team.
Summarised responsibilities:
* Write and document reports and execute validation protocols related to all aspects of storage, shipping, and distribution validation activities
* Validation activities will vary from all aspects of Warehouse qualification including the WQMS (warehouse quality management system), temperature and cold storage, sensors, HVAC, and associated utilities
* Promoting continuous improvements and process improvements working to GDP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 as well as GxP legislation and regulatory expectations and requirements.
* Calibration of relevant equipment, utilities, and systems
* Computer system validation of the quality management system and other Warehouse related systems
* Support audits as and when required with MHRA, ISO and suppliers
About you:
* Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Engineering, Science or relevant industry.
* Ability to work autonomously as the Validation expert on site
* Relevant experience in a distribution environment will be considered WITH the correct level of Validation experience
* Desire to become a lead or manager
* Strong GDP experience is highly desirable
