Job Description
3. Manage a caseload of residential conveyancing transactions, including purchases, sales, remortgages, transfers of title, and discharges.
4. Prepare, draft and review legal documents including missives, disposition, standard securities, and LBTT returns.
5. Conduct title examinations and raise or respond to observations.
6. Liaise with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents, and other third parties to progress transactions.
7. Handle submission of registration applications via the Registers of Scotland (RoS) and ensure compliance with registration requirements.
8. Maintain accurate case records and adhere to internal compliance procedures.
9. Provide regular updates to clients and maintain high levels of client service and communication.
10. Keep up to date with relevant changes in Scottish property law and conveyancing practices
The Successful Applicant
11. Proven experience in a conveyancing role within a Scottish legal practice.
12. Sound knowledge of Scottish property law and the conveyancing process.
13. Proficient in using case management systems and Registers of Scotland online services
14. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
15. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
