We are looking for a Graduate Electrical Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team. You will be working with our Water team on projects local to East Sussex on our Southern Water portfolio. This is a structured graduate development programme designed to provide you with experiences and tools for progression in your chosen career.
Location: Falmer, East Sussex – with travel across the South
Starting salary: £30,000 per annum plus potential car allowance of £4,750 depending on eligibility
Pathway: Permanent, Full-time, 2-year programme, leading to an assistant level role upon completion with salary potential of around £38k
Starting date: September 2026

What you will be responsible for
As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will be assisting in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects.
Your Day to Day
* Assisting in the design and development of electrical systems for projects.
* Supporting the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and reports.
* Conducting site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.
* Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
* Assisting in the preparation of technical reports, documentation, and project updates.

We are seeking graduates due to graduate in 2026, or recent graduates within the past three years, with a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

* Hold a full UK driving licence.
