You will be part of the Early Help service reporting to the Children with Disabilities Lead with strong links to the Family Help and EHCP teams.
The role
We are seeking a Team Manager for our Children with Disabilities Hub, overseeing a group of committed Family Support Workers and Social Workers. This is a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality, child-centred support for families navigating the complexities of disability.
As Team Manager, you will:
* Provide strong, reflective management and supervision to a multidisciplinary team.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality assessments, plans, and interventions.
* Champion the rights and needs of children with disabilities and their families.
* Oversee the provision of short breaks and other support services, ensuring they are accessible, inclusive, and responsive.
* Work collaboratively with partner agencies to deliver integrated support.

What's needed?
You will be:
* An experienced manager with extensive and relevant experience, in disability and children’s services.
* Knowledgeable about relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989/2004, the SEND Code of Practice, and the Care Act 2014.
* Experienced in managing or supervising staff within a social care setting.
* Skilled in working with families with complex needs, demonstrating empathy, resilience, and solution-focused thinking.
* Passionate about inclusion, equity, and improving outcomes for children with disabilities.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
