About the Role
We are working in partnership with an NHS Trust in Oxfordshire to recruit an experienced Advanced Nurse / Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Band 8a) to join a dynamic and supportive clinical service.
This is an established advanced practice role, offering a high degree of autonomy, clinical decision-making, and leadership responsibility. You will practise in line with the NHS England Multi-professional Framework for Advanced Clinical Practice, delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care across the four pillars of advanced practice: Clinical, Leadership & Management, Education, and Research.
You will work closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care, while contributing to service development and workforce transformation.
Person Specification
Essential
Registered healthcare professional (NMC, HCPC, or GPhC)
MSc (Level 7) in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent (including independent prescribing where required)
Significant post-registration experience and expertise within relevant specialty
Desirable
Recognised Advanced Practice credential (NHSE or professional body)
Leadership or management qualification
Experience of research activity, service evaluation, or publication
Advanced Life Support qualification relevant to specialty
